Hi! I’m Paul Kim, currently an MS student in Data Science at the University of San Francisco, with interests across a range of humanities-tech.

I graduated from Northwestern University in 2017 with a degree in Radio/Television/Film and was set to attend graduate school in journalism that fall. Upon reconsideration, I decided to take a year off to work and reapply for data science masters programs. This seems like a sharp pivot – and it is! However, I will argue that there are similar truths to be discovered in both (and many other) fields.
